Established in 1995, the State Remote Sensing Application Centre (SRSAC) is in the foray of research, analysis and interpretation of Remote Sensing & GIS applications using satellite imageries for developmental planning of land resources, water resources and natural resources management for the state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is functioning as an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology. The Centre has successfully accomplished a number of critical importance remote sensing and geographical Information System projects, which are relevant to Arunachal Pradesh. Experienced scientists, engineers from different subject backgrounds having specialization in Remote Sensing, GIS technology, photogrammetry, Image processing, LiDAR technologies, Unmanned Ariel Vehicle (UAV) are catering the needs of Geospatial services for the user departments.
